  Anionic polyacrylamide (APAM) is white powder particles with a molecular weight of 8 million to 22 million. It has the characteristics of good water solubility, high viscosity, strong toughness, and non-toxicity. The effective pH range is 4-14, and it works well in weak acid, neutral, and alkaline sewage. Anionic polyacrylamide can be used as a flocculant, thickener, paper enhancer, and liquid drag reducer, and is widely used in water treatment, papermaking, petroleum, coal, mining, metallurgy, geology, textile, construction and other industrial sectors.

Working Principle


  Anionic polyacrylamide is used for industrial wastewater treatment: for suspended particles, high concentration, positively charged particles, neutral or alkaline PH value of water, steel plant wastewater, electroplating plant
wastewater, metallurgical wastewater, coal washing wastewater and other wastewater treatment, the effect is good. Drinking water treatment: the water source of many water plants in my country comes from rivers, with high sediment
and mineral content, and is relatively turbid. Although it has been precipitated and filtered, it still cannot meet the requirements. It is necessary to add flocculants. The dosage is 1/50 of that of inorganic flocculants, but the effect
is several times that of inorganic flocculants. For rivers with serious organic pollution, inorganic flocculants and our company's cationic polyacrylamide can be used together for better results. Recovery of lost starch lees from starch plants and alcohol plants: many starch plants now have a lot of starch in their wastewater. Anionic polyacrylamide is now added to flocculate and precipitate starch particles, and then the precipitate is filtered through a filter press to become a cake, which can be used as feed. The alcohol in the alcohol plant can also be dehydrated with anionic polyacrylamide and recovered by filtration. It is used for river water slurry sedimentation. Used as papermaking dry strength agent. Used as papermaking auxiliary agent and rate-aiding agent. Adding a small amount of PAM-ASG-3 anionic polyacrylamide to the pump-type pulp storage tank before papermaking can increase the retention of fillers and fine fibers in the water on the net by 20-30%. It can save 20-30kg of pulp per ton.

  3. It is used as a textile sizing agent, with stable slurry performance, less slurry falling, low fabric breakage rate, and smooth cloth surface.
